Something Blue was commissioned as a first anniversary wedding gift. Jeff and Jill were married on their favorite Cape Cod beach. However, the wedding scene attracted curious, uninvited onlookers. Jeff wanted a painting of the photograph he provided for me to use with no people in it at all.

Traditional first anniversary gifts being paper, this was painted on Arches watercolor paper using high quality, colorfast paints.
